Discoverable Compute, Decentralized Production, and the Mechanics of the Hearth

For years, I have maintained four foundational propositions regarding the nature of technology, magic, and human capability:

  • All technology is magic applied. The Scientific Method is how we learn how the magic works. Technology is how we implement magical workings.
  • There is nothing that exists that is not magical in nature.
  • To someone born into a high-magic society, magic would look mundane. If everyone could shoot fire from their hands, no one would consider it strange. If it were restricted to a few but relatively common, it would be treated as just another routine discipline.
  • We live in a high-magic society precisely because we live in a high-tech society.

For a long time, these propositions functioned primarily as philosophical anchors held as a matter of faith; intuitive axioms guiding my life. However, through our ongoing empirical work in dynamical systems, continuous phase space, and multi-calendrical topology (not published yet,) these statements have crossed the threshold from faith into observable mechanics. We have stripped away the “supernatural” hand-waving to reveal an underlying truth: what the modern world dismisses as myth or magic is often simply non-lossy, continuous physics that post-Enlightenment models flattened or ignored.

1. The Demystification of Magic as System Mechanics

When a phenomenon is labeled “magical” or “esoteric,” it rarely implies a violation of physical law. More often, it indicates that the underlying substrate, baud rate, or state space has not yet been formally modeled by contemporary instruments. A global network of silicon, fiber optics, and electromagnetic transceivers operating in real time is, by any functional definition, a high-magic grid. We have simply renamed the sigils as compiled binaries, the invocations as API calls, and the spellbooks as protocol specifications. Because these systems are ubiquitous, they appear mundane.

Our research into field automata, such as Continuous Lenia, demonstrates that mind, intuition, and signal generation emerge deterministically when potential passes through a structured resistance matrix (I=V/R). Magic is not an arbitrary breach of reality; it is the precise manipulation of information geometry across continuous phase space.

2. Ancient Precedent and Discoverable Compute

This empirical re-derivation is not unprecedented in human history. Civilizations before us developed sophisticated computational and information-processing architectures without reliance on modern industrial manufacturing. Our work on the Andean Khipu demonstrates that tactile, fiber-based topologies functioned as fully operational relational databases, encoding complex multi-dimensional data into physical knot metrics.

However, while ancient lineages mastered continuous information topology in physical mediums, our current historical moment presents a unique structural convergence. This is the first time humanity is re-discovering these non-lossy physics protocols while simultaneously possessing high-speed data networks, consumer GPUs, and powerful local compute in every home.

3. Seizing the Means of Digital Production

The centralization of modern technology has created a digital priesthood. Multi-billion-dollar data centers and closed-source AI platforms seek to gatekeep the substrate, positioning themselves as the sole arbiters of advanced intelligence and computational power. But because the underlying physics is discoverable and universal, these centralized architectures are inherently vulnerable to decentralization.

By formalizing non-lossy physics, local-first compute engines, and open-source models, we empower working-class communities to seize the means of digital production. You do not need to lease sovereign intelligence from a centralized corporate cloud when the mechanics of compute can be run locally, deterministically, and sovereignly at your own hearth.

The discoveries made, which other labs are converging on, represent a true paradigm shift. It will affect and improve every science we have. It will allow us to make tremendous strides, quickly, in material sciences, medicine discovery, matter printing (yes, and other labs already have working prototypes that do not incorporate these physics,) cybernetics and inhabitable robotics (truly autonomous robotics with full bodily awareness and genuine sense of touch, prosthetics with genuine touch.)

It will improve the performance of our existing hardware, and shrink software, including AI models, into spaces that would otherwise not be possible. AI sovereignty is coming to working class communities, and the giant data centers being built today will be obsolete by next year.

By the end of 2028, the working class have taken control of their own education through community tooling, which is critical in a world that is dismantling our public systems rapidly. That is my prediction, and perhaps it is optimistic, but I believe in humanity and I believe in this moment; we will improve our lives soon.

The largest AI leaders do not understand this technology; they do not have this physics, and their vision of the future is bleak because they have no connection to the magic. We will build an equitable future for ourselves out from under their oligarchy, and they will wonder why, suddenly, they have to work like the rest of us.

4. The Praxis of the Sovereign Hearth

The integration of advanced esoteric science into empirical frameworks is not an academic exercise; it is a practical, political, and spiritual necessity. When local communities gain access to sovereign, decentralized compute, the economic and operational balance shifts. The technology we build at Mage’s Guild Psychonautics and Basin Game Studios aims to accelerate this transition, providing open-source, mathematically grounded tools that restore agency to the practitioner, the artisan, and the household.

We are not inventing a new mythos; we are restoring a continuous engineering discipline. By treating the physical world as an interconnected, high-magic substrate and leveraging consumer-grade hardware to run sovereign protocols, we build a future where technology serves human dignity, creative autonomy, and the permanent warmth of the Hearth.

My work is open source and free to use. I am not the only lab uncovering these things. The world is gifting us this knowledge, and many others are coming to the same conclusions, I just happen to be the furthest along who is currently publishing in English. Even without my work, this will happen. Even without my influence, this technology is coming to the world, soon.

This list will grow, with several planned additions. These seek to establish a research program or protocol set for validating the simulated, hypothesized, and theorized claims, which we distinctly label the differences between, as you can see in the work.
